With a amused look on his face Brian watched Dom laugh and giggle. It was quite untypically and gave away his drunken state. The cop couldn't help but laugh as well, the sight was just too funny. The only thing that wasn't so funny was the sudden reflux he was fighting with. the only way was to wash it down with another drink. So brian did. It worked for about a minute when his stomache started revolting against the massive amount of plain alcohol. Placing his hand on his chest he sat back and took a break. "She's dead. Tyler's been crying and crying so if he doesn't she won't wake up."

"Yeah she looked like she was tired," Dom said as he started taking large breaths to settle his laughing back to a manageable level once more, "I can understand why she would be... If she's the one taking care of him during the day."
He shook his head and rubbed his eyes bringing the digital clock back into readable sight once more. He pulled himself off the couch as he downed the remainder of the tequila bottle, he swayed slightly on his feet before he walked carefully to the mantle where he put the picture of the old gang back up. Dom turned slowly and looked at Brian seeing the other man lounging there on the large chair.
"Don't know what time you get up in the morning but... Mia's gonna be pissed if you sleep down here with that," he said motioning to the liquor bottle in Brian's hand, "Cause I'm going to bed..." he didn't even know if he still had a bed in his old room, he hoped so because he needed to sleep off his drunken state.

It took Brian a moment until he realized what Dom was doing. he was heading for their bedroom and would wake up Mia. "No, not up there. That's our bedroom now." He got up to stop Dom but almost fell against the coffee table. The bottle of booze rolled out of his hand when he caught himself before he hit the floor. "Fuck." Crawling across the living room floor he retrieved it and looked ta the stain it had left.

Three loud knocks on the door were the short warning before it came crashing down. A second later Dom's face was pressed against the wall and his wrist twisted up his back. "Dominic Toretto, you're under arrest." Quick hands patted him down making sure that he didn't hide any weapons. "I can't beleive you came back here."
Before he could make a move a gun was pointed at Brian's head and somebody snarled. "Agent O'Conner...tststs."

Dom winced slightly as his heart began to pound world spinning and everything becoming vivid, he struggled quickly pulling out of grip. His arm and wrist hurt, but the amount of alcohol running through him was enough to dull that.
He wasn't as much scared now as he was pissed, alcohol igniting his furious temper. 'Stay alive and get out,' was the only thing running through his mind now. Dom grabbed the agent his hands hooked around the man's vest as he lifted the man and tossed him back. He moved surprisingly well for a guy who had just consumed basically two bottles of tequila, Dom slammed through the agents and headed directly for the garage, to his Charger. He knew how to run and if he had to he was going to start running again.

Brian was completely shocked by the FBI storming in. His mind didn't calculate what exactly it meant other than trouble. was he on their side, were they on his...not likely with a gun pointed at him. So he simply reacted letting his body take controll. His hand shot up knocking the gun out of the man's hand and pushing him away so he could make an escape on shaky legs. He was screwed if they got their hands on him or Dom. The path Dom had beaten into the agents was still there and Brian did his best to get through in good old football fashion. unfortunately the last one got his hands on him before he reached the door, spinning him around and sending him flying through the broken door and down the stairs backwards. O'Conner had no idea what had just happened until he had reached the bottom of the stairs and every single vertebrae in his back seemed to revolt.

What the hell is he doing?" One of the man yelled after O'Conner and another one ran down the stairs, jumped over the man on the floor and followed Dom into the garage. It would be interesting to see how he'd get out since one of the FBI vehicles blocked the way out. A second agent came running into the garage where they found Toretto behind the wheel engine running. "Get out. The drive way is blocked. We don't want to shoot you, just get out."
Outside the man in charged had reached their colleague' on the bottom of the stairs, who was sitting on his sore butt and groaning and reached for his arm. "Now, stay down! remember your family inside!"

Dom slipped into the garage, one hand slamming the door open as the other fumbled with his keys for a moment. His body was shaking slightly, not terrified, more like on an adrenaline rush. He opened the Charger's door and slipped in, key sliding into the ignition as he started up the detroit muscle car. As the motor roared to life, he felt his body calm instantly, he was safe now.
Dom hit the gas as he shifted and dialed a very familiar number, he could see Brian sitting at the bottom of the stairs not moving much. There wasn't much he could do for him now, he wanted to, but he had to get out. Holding the phone between his shoulder and his ear his listened to it ring and ring. This was the last time he could use the disposable phone he had gotten.
If they didn't move he would move them, he smirked slightly, it wasn't like he needed a driveway to get out anyway.

His heart was beating heavily in his chest when he saw the man above him come into focus. Brian recognised him immediately. He had seen him many times at the headquarters. His grip was made of steel when he urged Brian to get up but his words were worse. 'family inside'. He would do anything for them. But what was the right thing now? Alcohol and pain made it hard to get up but he did anyway staring at the man but remaining calm so he wouldn't be knocked on his ass again.

As soon as he heard the engine come to life the agent in charge changed his mind. he knew that if Toretto really broke through their blockade none of them would have a chance at catching them...none of THEM. He pulled Brian closer by his shirt and shouted. "Come here. You get in your car with me. Follow Toretto." Of course Brian wouldn't agree so he added quickly. "Make a choice right now, follow Toretto, or go back to prison for harbouring a criminal and never see your wife and kid again. what's it going to be?"
the agents inside the garage stepped aside slightly when Dom pushed on the gas. They were convinced he wasn't going to get through. Nevertheless one of them was clever enough to fire a shot at the tires and missed.

Dom turned his wheel and rode over the grass cutting close to the driveway as he slid around the blockade and hit the road, he was sober now. Every shred of alcohol fogginess was gone from his mind now. He had to focus, focus on the road and focus on the phone that had just switched over to voicemail.
"Hello 'Han Lue' is currently unavailable please leave a message after the beep."
Dom growled, "Han call me back as soon as you get this," he growled before snapping the phone shut and tossing it into his passengers seat.

"Follow Toretto, my ass." Brian growled until the word 'prison' was dropped. It gave him instant chills. No matter how drunk he was he never wanted to go back and risk loosing Mia and Tyler. Another shove convinced him to move faster.
"You're still an agent, aren't you, O'Conner?" The man remarked sarcastically. Brian fell into a job to get to his Skyline and more or less stmbled in. "You're sure you want this?" He slurred when the guy got in. It was obvious he was drunk.
Yet he turned the key just in time to see Dom turn the corner.

"Just drive O'Conner," He growled buckling his seatbelt, "And you had better not loose Toretto or I am locking your drunk ass up for harboring a criminal."
The man was angry, he had to catch Toretto before the time ran out, and that time was running pretty short as it was, in a couple of years Toretto would walk away from all this hassle as a free man. A very watched free man, but a free man never the less.

His foot hit the gas as soon as the words were spoken making the tires spin. Brian had no intent catching Dom but he might as well make it look like it. he took the first corner a little too fast for his state and slid towards a car coming towards them on the other side of the road. A quick counterstir and they were back on track with the Charger in view. "you know I'm drunk, right....are you going to lock me up for DUI?" he remarked sarcastically speeding up more so he wouldn't loose sight of Dom until he noticed the device in the guys hand. "What's that?"

The man looked at the device in his hand, "Well I'm sure your familiar with this, how else would we make Toretto stop. And I'm sure you'll sober up fast enough, if not I can always take you and Toretto in at the same time. I'll let you go when you are sober," the man said snidely shaking his head.

Quickly he put two and two or three together and figured out that he had to stay far evnough away from Dom to prevent the use of the engine killer. At the same time it had to look like he was trying hard so he wouldn't screw himself over. Around the next corner Brian shifted down and made the engine howl. He got some speed out of it and caught up to Dom at the next set of lights. Of course Dom didn't stop, just slowed down to avoid a collission. Squinting his eyes to focus he took his foot off the gas.

Dom slipped through cars and out the other side, he could see Brian following him and could also see one of the guys that had broken in to the house sitting next to him. He glanced at the phone, he needed Han to call him back. The kid needed to get him out of here, which was sad considering his brother-in-law had just gotten basically kidnapped and was getting forced to drive drunk to catch him.
He bit his lip and glanced back again, he had to get Brian away from the traffic.

Brian's timing was off. He didn't have half as much controll over his car as when he was sober. With his reactions as slow as they were one of the oncoming cars bumped into the rear of the Skyline just hard enough to send the back end into a slide. "Shit." He cursed and tried to regain controll over his vehicle. Slowing down he yelled at the man next to him. "Is Toretto worth us getting killed?" His heart was racing when he kept following Dom who seemed to drive much better on two bottles of booze than anybody should be able to.

"Toretto has to be brought in," the man said pulling on his seat belt, "Might as well tell you this since you won't remember it. Statute of Limitations is almost up on the big guy, when it runs out we can't chase him anymore."
He reached over and grabbed the wheel pulling them around another car and out the other side, "Don't get us killed."

The Skyline was following the charger towards the ocean through the few cars that were still on the road. On street after the other, one turn after the other, sometimes further away sometimes closer. Brian and Dom were pretty equal when it came to driving. When Brian's eyes fell on the dimly lit sand next to the road Brian had an idea. He needed to loose Dom before the agent could use the device but it had to look real. As soon as Dom turn right onto the ocean road brian saw a car coming towards them. If he wanted to stay on Dom he had to cut the corner, which he did. The blink of an eye later the front tire lost grip on the sandy pavement. Spinning out of controll the Nissan whirled around like a Hurricane, cut down a bush on the beach, which almost made it tip and whirled up truckloads of sand before it got stuck. Both passengers got thrown around like dummies. Brian was clinging to the stearing wheel until the airbag hit his face.
When the car finally came to a halt and the sand had settled down he smirked against the airbag. 'Mission accomplished'.
