Brian stared down at his hands in disbelief. He wriggled them a little soon finding out that he could slide his hands out. "Whoa." He mouthed. What now. He had to use this chance that had been given to him.

Cole raised an eyebrow. "Strategies like that are good examples of ones that should have backup plans." He scratched his head. "You do realize that the cops are gonna be all over us when we pull this off." Now he was starting to second guess this idea, to him it sounded like Mira was either too desparate or acting out of anger, both of which usually end badly.

Mira nodded. "Cole I'm a police officer I know that. When we get Brian free we are leaving the country. there are cargo ships and planes leaving every day... and every captain has his price. We find one willing to take us where the stolen cars are, load what and who we need and go after Walter." She set her hand on her stomach. She had to start to be more careful now that she wasn't just living for herself.

Stolen cars? So now he was involved in a big police operation as well? Great. "You have a lot of trust for someone you just met." He shook his head. "What made you tell me to go talk to Brian anyway?" Maybe it was the fact that he looked like, and was, just a kid, someone who would be easy to boss around and do things just to please people. He hoped this was not the impression that Mira, Brian, or anyone else had.

" Well Brian seemed to trust you and I wasn't sure how mad he was at me I figured you would have a better chance at getting threw to him then me." Mira leaned back against her Charger. "Plus you are... well seem to be a pretty good kid. I trust ya. Besides Miami isn't a place to be alone in." She reached up and ruffed his hair. He really was becoming the brother she never had. It was kinda nice to know she and Brian had someone like him they could count on.

Cole smirked. "Well I'm probably the most straightfoward person you'll meet in the streets, I haven't been corrupted yet." He laughed. "I ran the streets myself in L.A, and that was a year ago." He tried to straighten his hair out, but it was still a mess.

Mira couldn't help but laugh. "Well you are about to be very corrupted. Cause encase you didn't know its illegal to break someone out of federal custody and then flee the country." She stood up. "Lets get this show on the rode. I still need to stop at Brian's house... Damn we have to get his skyline back too...f*ck..." She opened the door of her Charger for max who jumped right in.

"Didn't know that." He mumbled to himself jokingly, turning back to his evo, he threw his last bag in the trunk and closed it. "If we have a big enough window of opportunity, I'll bring Brian by Diablo's to pick up his skyline."

for a while Brian just lay there thinking how he he could pull this off. Preferably he wouldn't involve anybody else in fleeing and the nurse had just opened up that opportunity for him. Nevertheless Brian knew that he was quite shaky on his legs and couldn't simply stroll out of the hospital and wait for the public bus or a cab. He needed some sort of car to, preferably a fast one, to get away and then he needed his friends to hide him until he could flee the country.
with all this in mind he wondered whether it was actually worth it. Maybe most of the charges would be dropped and he'd only face a short sentence, maybe 3-5 years and then live his life. The thought of missing 3 to 5 years of the life of his child, the first years, was too cruel though. On top of that Brian knew what California prisons were like and that he'd be slaughtered once he was in there a) because he was a cop, b) because he was pretty enough to become somebody's favourite toy. Neither of these things appealed to him.
If only Mira would come by so he could figure out whether she was really ready to leave her normal life and run with him...especially with the doubts in her mind whether he was corrupted or not.
Hoping that the guard would detect his loose handcuff Brian called for him. "Hey, excuse me! Hello!" After a minute the man opened the door a gap and asked. "What do you want, O'Conner?" "I'd like to make a phone call." The guy rolled his eyes. "Sorry, man. No phone here!" He was about to close the door when Brian objected. "Officer, I know my rights and I'm entitled to a phone call. Be so kind and organize one, will you?" It too another minute then the door was closed. Was he simply being ignored?
He wasn't. A few minutes later the guard had organized a hospital phone and handed it to Brian. "You have three minutes!" With that he turned around and closed the door.
Suddenly incredibly nervous Brian pushed the speaker function and dialed Mira's cell eagerly waiting for her to pick up.

"His skyline is in the impound lot... I'll have to be the one to get that while you and hopefully Jack will get Brian out at the same time... I'm gonna go stop at Brian's and get my case files and stuff meet you at Diablo's." Mira got into her Charger and drove off to Brian's.
A few days later as she was sitting putting finishing touches on the paint of Cole's GT-R, her phone started to ring. Pulling her mask off she picked up the phone. "Hello?"

With his voice as low as he could he said. "It's me. I just need to know what you think about what we said the other day. Now would be a good time. Somebody has to be in the parking lot. What's a good exit?" Brian tired to be as unspecific as possible in case the guard had his ear to the door,.

Mira dropped the paint gun. "I can be at the south exit in ten minutes..." She held the phone between her ear and shoulder as she pulled off her suit. "How are you getting out?" She walked to her charger and slide in turning it over the V8 roaring to life.

"Not sure yet. But be ready just in case it works."
He hung up and stared at the phone for a moment. So Mira was on board and ready. A smile spread on his lips knowing she was there for him all the way. He had to think on his feet now.
First he twisted his hands out of the hand cuffs, then swung his legs over the corner of the bed. Again his vision went out. An indicator of how much blood he had lost a couple of days ago. Biting his lip he grabbed the IV needle in his left arm and pulled it out before he got up, waited for a moment until he felt steady enough and then frantically searched for something he could use as a weapon against the guard. His fingers fumbled through the shelves tossing aside all kinds of useless supplies, towels, bed sheets. The only thing remotely dangerous he could find were syringes. So he grabbed one and filled it with water.
Taking his position behind the door he called for the guard who showed up like on cue. Next thing he knew Brian wrapped his left arm around the man's throat from behind and pushed the needle into his neck. "One wrong move and I'll empty this into you. And you know how long you'll live when you get air in your blood."
Obviously the guard was terrified enough to have a tripple murderer threaten him to buy by Brians bullshit, hand over his gun and freeze. Brian reached for the 9mm and tossed the syringe away using the weapon instead. Unfortunately his right hand didn't cooperate the way he wanted so he had to use his left to aim at the man's head. In a very calm but threatening tone he commanded him to lay down, cuffed the guard to the bed and taped his mouth shut. Then he went through the closet but couldn't find any clothes. A moment later he was out the door hiding the gun underneath the hospital gown. To his great relief there was nobody on the hallway. As quickly as his shaky legs carried him he made it to the next way down he could find, which was the stair case. Brian let go of his

Mira quickly pulled out of the garage and sped down the road. The trip from the garage to the hospital which normally take twenty minutes, took her only ten minutes she broke more then a few laws to get there. She was ready to get Brian and run. They would be able to raise their baby together. If things went according to plan that is....If not they would either be dead or in jail.
She stopped out in front of the south exit of the hospital and waited her fingers tapping against the steering wheel.

Brian half fell down the last few stairs because his knees were giving in but he caught the door handle just in time to safe himself from falling. It took him a moment leaning his back against the wall and holding his right arm tight to his body because his shoulder hurt like a b**ch to be able to keep going. With shaky fingers he opened the door and stepped out into the hallway of the ground floor where he was greeted by people staring at him. None of them were saying anything but he could see that they knew something was off. A patient shouldn't be running around barefoot through the hospital. A nurse who was just walking by shot a look at him and then asked. "Are you okay? Do you need any help?" Brian quickly shook his head and turned around to get back into the stair well. The ground floor was way too busy and who knew what that nurse would do? Half walking half stumbling he went further down hoping to find a way out there.

After waiting for a what seemed like hour, though it was only ten minutes, Mira started to get worried. Turning her Charger off she walked in side grabbing her back pack which had a change of clothes for Brian in it just in case. The entrance and lobby where full of people. 'Great' She tried to find Brain in the crowd but had no luck. So she decided to start at the floor Brian's room was on. Turning to the door to the stairwell she pushed it open and walked in, walking right into Brian. "I'm so sorry-" She looked up and her mismatched eyes met his pale blue ones. She only knew one guy with eyes like that. "Brain! I found you." She smiled and hugged him. Now they just had to find a way out.

His first instinct was to knock whoever ran into him out. He was glad he didn't though when he realized who it was. Pulling her into a hug he was relieved to have some help but also worried that she'd be spotted with him. He grabbed her hand and dragged her down the stairs. "There's too many people on the ground floor. Nobody can see you here, okay?" Just when he had spoken the last word he heard voices somewhere above them. So he picked up the speed and took two stairs at once which only resulted in him tripping and falling down the rest of the stairs dragging Mira down with him. With a thud the landed on the cold cement floor. "Shit." Brian winced quickly checking that Mira was okay. "We have to get out of here fast." Loud voices from above made him listen up. Had they been discovered already?

*RP'ing doctors and cops* Dr. Whoolery made his way to his last patient of the day, Brian O'Conner. All he had to do was check a few things and he was off work for the day. Opening the door, he still had his eyes on his clipboard. "Good afternoon, Mr. O'Conner." Hearing an agitated moan in response, he looked towards the bed. Instead of seeing his patient, he saw a guard tied to the bed, mouth taped shut. That didn't stop the guard from trying to make any noise he could. The doctor ripped the tape off. "OWW!" The guard yelled. "What the hell happened?" Dr. Whoolery demanded. "O'Conner did this, he's escaping right now! Untie me so I can call my buds." He struggled against the handcoffs. Soon he was free and made a call to his boss. "Sergeant Cross? O'Conner is free, get everyone down here now!" Sergeant Cross was livid on the other end. After scolding the guard, he hung up and sprinted from his office to his Charger police car, alerting the whole office on the way. In no time at all. Half the police department was thundering down to the hospital. Inside the hospital, the loudspeakers went off. "Attention all staff, a high risk suspect has escaped from his room. He may have escaped the hospital by now, however, all security staff is to immedietly lock down the premises until further notice. Police are on their way." Cole was ready in case Mira called him for assistence, but he decided that whether Mira thought she needed him or not, he should probably be there just in case. He hopped in his freshly painted GT-R and sped to the hospital. He parked by Mira's charger and scouted around the area for any sign of them. His eyes went over to the ground floor emergency escape door. Most likely that's where they'd get out. He went over to the door and opened it, looking around before stepping in.

Just when they had gotten back up the announcement over the speakers threatened to spoil the escape. "Fuck, fuck! Why are they so fast? Make me wait forever for an aspirin but now..."
His eyes darted around, then he grabbed the clothes from Mira's hand. If he wanted to get out of the hospital undetected he needed to look like a visitor, not a patient who's blood was seeping through the white fabric...everybody would be able to put two and two together!
Nervously he tried to pull on the pants, which was a difficult task with one hand because the other one lacked every feeling. Like a kid getting dressed for the first time he shoved his right foot in the left hole, tried again and cursed like a sailor when he tried to pull off the hospital gown at the same time. If the situation wasn't so serious it would actually be quite comical. Brian was on edge, after all this meant freedom or prison for a very long time.

Cole thought he heard someones voice further down the hallway, then he heard a loudspeaker announcement, but couldn't quite make out what it was saying. He continued down the hallway and followed where he thought he heard someone. After turning a few corners, he was greeted by a half naked man trying to put some pants on, with a blonde girl helping him. The scene looked really awkward, until he realized who they were. He tried so hard not to laugh but he couldn't help it. "Well, good job getting this far." He said matter-of-factly
