The cop was ready to shoot again when the man he was following took desperate measures. With a few leaps he was at the edge of the roof and jumped. Running to the edge as well the cop looked down at the tarmac and water not too far away. Further than he was willing to risk though because you could easily miss and hit the hard ground or break you neck on the docks. The suspect had taken a plunge into the water but was nowhere to be seen now. From the roof top the man hollered down to his collegues who were watching the exit. "He jumped! Down here, the guy's in the water. I need assistance." By the time any of them had made it to the spot where Jack had disappeared there was no sign of him anymore. Carefully they searched the ships nearby and the docks but he was gone. "He's shot. I bet we'll find him in few days washed up on some shore. I doubt he'll survive this." "Let's get an identikit picture of him out there though.' That same night an hour later Hendrik Hansen was walking his pitbull when he came home from his night shift at the club. Taking his usual route along the harborfront he took a drag from his smoke and the start whisteling a tune. Hendrik loved late night walks because nobody else was around. None of those stupid, ignorant people he had to put up with at the club all night long. From one second to the next, when he was lost in thoughts, the pitbull started growling and pulling so hard that the leash slipped from his hand and he dropped his cigarette in a puddle. "Oh for fucks sake, Kira!" He scolded the dog who had already disappeared down to the waters edge. -- Meanwhile Brian wasn't so lucky. The cop hadn't trusted him and his hopes that his status might not have been changed in the system yet was in vain. Of course the dipatcher on the other end told her that Brian had been suspended. 'Holy shit.' Brian thought to himself as he found himself neck deep in shit because of his brother once again. If only he had sent him to Mexico by himself. The story about his kidnapped kids was not only too long but also didn't justify smuggling drugs into the country. "Think, officer. Of course it says discharged. Anybody could hack into the system and pull up my file. Do you know what undercover work means? And I'm hiding because I'm fucking under cover and you're about to blow it...so back the fuck off, lady!" His voice was angry, aggrovated even because Brian knew that he might as well put the cuffs on himself and find a nice cell in Lompoc if she really arrested him. He took one step away from her putting his hands up just to whirl around and with one well placed kick knock the gun out of her hand. OOC: I'd trust this guy, wouldn't you?

“You wouldn´t even be here if you listen to my orders instead you decided to play stupid,” The officer reply back just as Sam decided to placed one of his hands on his throat not having much success, he didn’t have the strength to cut the air. He quickly removed his hand pointing the gun straight to Sam´s head.
“You are lucky Sam, that I don´t pull the trigger and kill you,” Sam was losing consciousness now. He looked at how the paramedics worked hard to save the man´s life keeping the gun in his hands watching closely at every breath, sigh and groan of pain.
“Wake up!” he hit Sam´s head not to hard but officer Ramos knew it was enough for Sam to not fall asleep, he didn´t need to have a bullet inside his shoulder or back to know that the headache must have been killing him, in a way it was some sort of payback for what Sam tried to do.
“Let´s take him to Saint Mary´s Hospital,” he said to the paramedics. The name ´Mia´ was mention more than once, maybe she had the answers about why Sam decided to run, what was Sam scared of? What did Sam do for a living? This ´Mia´ girl seem important to Sam. Officer Ramos had to find her...

The docks had turned into a warzone. Gunshots everything, shouting and screams, and emergency vehicles all around. Dom stayed confined in the distance of a few shipping containers until he could get idea what was going on. All he knew was that the second Brian sped off in Mia's car all hell broke loose, and the next thing he saw was both that van and Mia's car in a crumpled mess amidst the large number of crates.
Only briefly did he see a glimpse of Jack running with several cops not far behind, and Brian was hidden from view. Why were cops after them? The deal was to take down the mob solely...not everyone. Thoughts of whether Hobbs had betrayed them rushed through his head. He knew from first hand experience that the LAPD weren't very understanding about anything, and that even if Jack and Brian were still the 'good guys' in their eyes, the many illegal things they did to get to this point still would stand a harsh trial. To the point, they needed to escape. Cole said Hobbs and told him Stephano was taken care of, so Hobbs was still on their side, right?
Dom couldn't just watch any longer. He marched off in the direction of his hidden Charger and kept an eye out for any action around him, making sure he was concealed from police. On his way, he whipped out his cell and saw that he had a missed call from Mia. Probably wondering if he was okay. He dialed Cole's number and asked him where he was. Running from mob vehicles was his answer, though he thought he had shook them off...for now. Dom told him to get to the docks ASAP. Two extraction vehicles were better than one.

Whatever provoked the urgency in Dom's voice, it must've been a good reason. His command to get his ass to the docks was about as forceful as anything Cole ever heard from Stephano, and those were no lullaby's. Travelling at a rate considerably higher than what would be considered legal. He made the relatively quick drive that seemed like ages to the docks. He was constantly checking his mirrors and any oncoming streets for mob vehicles. He couldn't see anything, but it seriously felt like he was being watched. He was pretty certain at this point that Stephano's gang had placed the blame to whatever happened to the mobster at least partially on Cole. After all they should, he'd be the most likely infiltrator especially at such an event. Not to mention he was carry about 18 million of their money in the back of his vette. The dock soon came into view, and as instructed by Dom, he slowly and quietly drove through the shipping lanes. He could see flashing lights in the distance, many or them. Cops, that must've meant the situation was under control, right? A few minutes passed, and soon the orange corvette pulled even with Dom's charger. "Judging by your tone, I was expecting some sour mob shit. Looks like things could be worse..." Cole leaned towards the Toretto as he got out of his car. OOC: I'll give you guys the choice, do you want Dom/Cole to come blazing through and drag you two birdbrains out of here? Or do you want to suffer some more?

The hit in the head didn't really inflict that much more pain that Sam would have cared about. It just added to it and made him want to pass out even faster. He wasn't that lucky though.
Yet he opted for keeping his eyes closed and focussing on something good. Sam tried his best but nothing came to mind. Not one good thing he could think of. Sad.
When an oxygen mask was placed on his face and the doors to the ambulance finally closed, he was more than thankful because he couldn't hold on much longer. Even the drive to the hospital would be a stretch. Whatever the paramedics had given him was starting to work. It dulled the pain and on top of that his mind putting the hired thug at ease even though the cop insisted on riding with him.
Through his clouded state he overheard the man tell somebody his name on the radio. "Sam Ward...run a check. Thanks." Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to give the cop his real name just yet.

Jack halted his dragging steps through the sand almost immediately. Only a few steps away from him was an angry looking pitbull, it's lips curled back in a low growl to reveal a row of razor sharp teeth, saliva dripping from the corners of it's mouth. Leveling his good hand at the dog, which had apparently now caught the scent of his blood from the way it turned it's gaze up coolly at him with narrowed, dark eyes, Jack tried to remain as calming as possible. If he made the wrong move here, there was a fair chance he would end up getting attacked by the damned dog, and he was in no shape what so ever to fight the animal off. Escaping the cops only to get maimed by a fucking dog, wouldn't that be hilarious?I could just shoot it…"You're one ugly son of a bitch, aren't you? Easy now. I'm no chew toy." Figuring that shooting the animal was a little over the top (not to mention his gun might refuse anyway, since it was still wet), Jack stayed with his initial tactic, keeping his voice calm and soothing despite his less than friendly words. Unfortunately, it only earned him another growl as the animal laid it's ears back threateningly, the gray-brown fur on it's back twitching slightly. Jesus Christ. Doesn't this thing have an owner? As he backed up a couple of steps away from the animal, Jack squinted into the dark when he heard footsteps crunching in the sand; they were coming his way, followed by a voice the dog seemed to respond to. Thank god for that. Maybe he wouldn't get maimed just yet after all. "Mind calling your dog off me, sir," he groaned when the man finally was within earshot, doubling over in pain just a bit while he pressed his hand back against his wounded side. ---------------------------------------- Officer Langley had no time to react. All of a sudden her hands were empty, her gun having been knocked out of them by an unexpected kick. Her eyes desperately scanned the ground in search of it, seeing it glinting in the moonlight just a couple of feet away, but it was no use; it was too far away for her to reach. "You've just made a big mistake, officer O'Conner. We've got the building surrounded; you really think you're going to get away with this?" she asked, staying calm and collected on the outside, just like her police training had taught her to be when a situation turned hostile. Clearly this man was not undercover, or else he wouldn't have attacked her like this. "Please think this through, Mr. O'Conner. You know you'll be facing a lot more time if you continue down this path, but if you come with me willingly...," she tried to reason, hoping she could talk some sense into the man while stalling him at the same time. She'd called for back-up to her position earlier; her colleagues should be finding them any second now.

Dom leaned on the fender of the Dodge arms crossed as Cole finally arrived. He watched the flashing lights anxiously in the distance, going through all the possibilities in his head of what could be happening with the O'Conner's. He knew this whole Mexico drug run thing was a terrible idea. Bad ideas were familiar territory to Jack and Brian though.
"Don't think all the cops are on our side." Dom grumbled, not taking his eyes off the distant lights. "This better not be Hobb's plan." God only knows if the agent was intending on killing two birds with one stone here. All of them had reason's to be in prison, good reasons at that.
Remembering Mia's missed call, Dom dug out his cell and punched in her digits. Her joining them would ease his mind a bit, though he was plenty confident she was handling herself well.

She pulled out her cell phone from her pocket and looked at the caller id immediately answering.“Where the hell are you? The docks are filled with cops… ” she looked in the distance; the darkness of the night helped a whole lot for her to blend in easily and walked away from the docks. So far so good with no one seeing her, still she paid attention with every step she took just in case she had to run at any second.
“Have you heard from Brian or Jack?” she bit her lower lip, she really hoped those two were alright, last thing they needed was to get arrested and spend their lives in jail, which also brought another person to mind: Sam.

"Northern end of the docks, underneath an old crane. Cops are all by the western and southern ends." Dom answered with a little aggravation in his voice. He'd almost rather deal with the mob itself than police these days, he'd seen enough of them. "I saw Jack on the run, Brian is anyone's guess."
He was ready to rant a little regarding why the hell police were here after them, but stopped himself knowing that it'd do more harm than good at this point. "I think we need to get them out, Mia." He said after a short pause.

"Stay where you are... I´m on my way," she told Dom. "We´ll get them out," was the last thing she said ending the call. She kept walking and taking a long look at her phone. She wanted so bad to call Brian but she didn´t know in what circumstances he was in at the moment, probably running from his life as she was.
She had so many questions same as Dom but what matter was to find her brother and come up with a plan. Situation after situation kept coming at them not giving them a break which made Mia wonder if they would ever have a "normal life" at all. She finally got to the location Dom said he was. "Dom?" she called out to him while here eyes looked at her surroundings.

The bulky man fianlly found his dog down on the sand near the water. He had spotted a man, who was soaking wet and seemed to be breathing rather hard...as if he'd just gone for a swim.
Suspiciously he eyed Jack and instead of calling is dog off, like requested, he stepped up next to him and took him on the leash. The animal was still close enough to Jack to attack. "What on earth are you doing in the water at this time of the night?" He questioned him, very sure that he was safe with the animal as his protector.
It didn't take long until the dog wanted to leap forward but his owner held him with strong arms. Something was driving the dog crazy. At a closer look he spotted the crimson stain, which instantly explained the pained expression. "Are you okay? Do you need help?" He changed his course of action. "Sit!" He ordered his furry friend in a low, loud voice.
--His kick hit the gun better than he could have hoped. It didn't go off and landed far enough away to be out of reach of the cop.
"I don't need to get away with anything. Beleive it or not. I'm one of the good guys." Brian quickly took the three steps to reach for the gun and then pointed it at the officer.
"Please think this through, Mr. O'Conner. You know you'll be facing a lot more time if you continue down this path, but if you come with me willingly...," "I don't need your pep talk. Just take the cuffs off your belt and put them on yourself." He motioned for her to get down on her knees with the gun and patiently waited until the woman and place the metal on her own wrists.
From somewhere footsteps became audible, so Brian quickly instructed her "Shut up or I'll come back to shut you up." He chose not to knock her out but run instead. The opposite direction of the footsteps led him towards a set of stairs, that lead up to the office level.
Three minutes later Brian found himself in front of a door with a large blood smear on it. Instantly he jumped to the conclusion that it might be Jacks and gasped. "Shit." With the back up not too far behind him he needed to act fast though.
So soon he stood at the exact same spot on the roof where only a giant leap into the ocean could save him. "For fucks sake. How am I supposed to get across that?" He asked himself.
The heavy footsteps that fell on the steel steps behind him gave away the arrival of his chasers. letting his eyes scan the roof top he spotted a fire ladder on the far side of the building. Without a second thought Brian sprinted towards that ladder, swung himself onto it and stared a fast descend that ended as abrupt as the ladder did, half way down the roof. 'Oh for fucks sake, why do things never work out the way I plan.
Below him he could spot the backup guard the entrance of the warehouse not too far over to the left, while he was dangling from a laddeer with two cops on his ass.
OOC: Dom....? please see Brian dangle and come!

"That was fast." Dom's voice came from behind the base of a crane. The other side revealed he and Cole along with their cars. "We need to get close, I haven't seen any sign of them since retreating."
As if one queue, out of the corner of his eye he saw a large ladder suddenly swing down from on top of the office outlook platform. Squinting his eyes, he saw the figure of Brian hang like a rag doll from the end of it. Well, there was his answer. "Get in!" Dom grabbed Mia's hand and ran to his car. Fortunately, the office platform was almost directly underneath a truck route. Some quick driving would get him there in a few seconds. "If you see Jack, get him. Otherwise wait for my call." Dom glanced at Cole before sliding into the seat of the charger.
The matte black muscle car raced its way through several containers before getting on the main stretch underneath the office. Dom could only hope that the noise of the car was enough to get Brian's attention. Of course, Brian's attention would not be the only eyes on the car with all this law enforcement around. As he approached the precarious ladder, he could see officers drawing their guns from around the platform. It was almost a straight drop from the ladder to the ground, but there was a shipping container a few yards off from the ladder that Brian could maybe swing himself onto. Dom slide the car towards the container, hoping Brian got the idea before he came to a complete stop.

The roar of the approaching muscle car had Brian's attention almost instantly despite his uncomfortable situation. A sound like that could only come from an ally. Turning his head he saw the black vehicle race towards his position only to turn slightly away towards a large rusty container a few feet over.
Unfortunately not only Brian had taken note of the car but the cops watching the entrance as well. This way they could easily make out Brian's position and were now firing at the rapidly approaching vehicle. Brian could swear he heard a few bullett whiz by him as well. While his hands were slowly slipping from the last grip he had a choice to make, either back up the ladder and onto the roof where more cops were waiting, dropping to the ground, where he would most likely break a foot or his neck, or trying to swing for the container, where the rescue car would be in a second.
Without much hesitation Brian tried to judge the distance to the container and even though he wasn't sure he could make it, push one leg against the wall in front of him to whirl around in the air and try to reach to make in onto the top of the container.
Brian barely made it to the edge, which he flew against like a rag doll and had only a second to react before dropping another 10 feet. His left knee was the first thing to connect with the steel edge, then his side and arm came down on it. Without even thinking about it his left hand grabbed the edge. That one hurt enough to make him scream out before he lost grip and dropped down onto the roof of the black muscle car that had now reached his position.
One of the bullets hit the wind shield, then next one tore a hole in Brian's shirt. Luckily it merely graced him before he started banging on the roof shouting. "Go, go go."

There was no time to ask questions because it all happen so fast. Last thing she remembered was Dom taking her hand telling her to get in the car. Mia didn´t understand what was going on until she closed the door of the charger and the car started to pick up speed, then a loud sound was heard on the rooftop followed by gunshots and police shouting at Dom to stop the car.
It all sink in when she heard Brian´s desperate voice screaming for Dom to get away from the docks, shots kept coming at them to the point where she had to cover herself from the windshield glass flying all over the place.
The car was starting to get far away but that didn´t stop the cops to start following them. There was no doubt of Dom been a wonderful driver, she just hoped he did something to lose the three police cars right behind them or they were all going to jail.

Brian's ungraceful acrobatics made Dom clench his teeth a little before there was a loud thud on the roof, signaling Brian's presence. Bullets suddenly ripped through the windshield and ricocheted off the car. Dom could only hope that they'd somehow miss Brian. "Duck!" He exclaimed to Mia as he hit the reverse gear, who was already ducking. The charger did a reverse 90 degree turn away from the crate as bullets chased after it. "Hope you're holding on, Brian." Dom said quietly as he yanked the wheel hard to the left, causing the car to spin in a rather gorgeous J-turn. He threw it in first and dumped the clutch just as the car was pointed straight, resulting in a smokey but quick escape from the shooting gallery.
The car zig-zagged through a few more shipping lanes before Dom finally found the road. Annoyingly, several police cruisers were already on the road, and there was no time to make a stop to get Brian inside. It was either haul ass and hope to lose them, at the expense of maybe losing Brian too. Or drive at a manageable speed, only for more cop cars to join the chase. Dom figured there was only one option. He put the accelerator to the floor and hoped Brian did a lot of high speed water tubing in his childhood.
There weren't too many different routes available. It was this one route along the coastline until they reached a small town a handful of miles away. That could be the place to make the move on these cops, but first Dom had to get some distance. "Mia, there's map in the center console, get it and tell me of some twisty roads."

When Dom backed the car into a spin Brian almost lost grip even though he knew Dom would pull exactly that move. His hands and right side was hurting too much from the impact on the container to have a safe grip on top of the roof that procied little to nothing to hold on to.
With bulletts still flying their way Brian could only melt to the roof to provied as little surface to hit as possible.
For a moment he hoped Dom would stop and let him get inside or at least roll down the window. Instead he excellerated like crazy. "Fuck!" Brian scream against the wind in his face. "I can't hold on like that!"
The windshield had burst into a nice spiderweb. But Brian didn't get anywhere close to it while Dom was still excellerating.
While digging his nails into the small gap on the side and gritting his teeth against the throbbing in his knee and ribs he clung to it as good as he could. Unfortunately he wasn't spiderman and couldn't hang on through the narrow turn of the high speed chase so about 3 minutes down the road he lost grip for the first time and sideways. Somehow he managed to not fly off the roof.
He could barely breath at this speed because the wind was too strong. Was it really a good idea to outrace the cops and risk getting killed or should was it better to surrender and go to jail. Share a cell with Sam, maybe. What a jolly prospect. "Show them what you got." He yelled over the roar of the engine as if Dom could hear it.
When Dom suddenly hit the brakes to avoid the collision with a parked car after a turn the ex cop didn't stand a chance. His fingers lost grip as he went flying forward and got forcefully thrown off the roof, down on the hood and off the front.

All the sounds of the commotion going on top of his roof were plenty to tell Dom that Brian was having the ride of his life...along the struggle of his life. He did his best to keep the car steady and not toss it around too much, but at these speeds even slight movement felt like a powerslide.
The chase began to enter more populated communities and with it more traffic to deal with. Dom could only imagine the expression of other motorists as he flew by them with a grown man on the roof, followed by a squad of police cars in hot pursuit. Dom saw a narrow street open up to his left, and decided to try it. He rather gingerly made the corner but applied full power the moment the car was straight. It was going well for a few seconds, as the cops were starting to fade in his mirror, until a parked car hidden by an abrupt turn suddenly made it's presence known directly in front of them. "Ah fuuuck." Dom had no choice but to slide to a quick stop, though he angled the car so that Brian wouldn't go sailing into the parked car. Predictably, the older O'Conner bounced off the hood and came to a violent meeting with the pavement. Dom quickly brought the right side of the car alongside Brian. Hoping he wasn't completely incapacitated. "Get him in." He took a quick glance at Mia and then back at the squad cars that were closing fast.

Dom hit the brakes not giving her a chance to react, until the car stopped then she remembered about Brian being on top of the roof and now down on the pavement. Was he alive? Dead? "Oh no, no... Brian!" the car stopped and she got out of the car, her heart skip a beat as she quickly approach him but sighed in relief when she saw he was alive...in a lot of pain but alive.
His face said it all. He´d been injured a hunderd times but this time seemed a lot worse and it was impossible for her not to show her concern when she knelt down besides him. Brown eyes scanned his body for more injuries, she placed a cool hand on his forehead. "I´m sorry but we have to go..." Mia helped him stand up and get inside the car, he looked like hell.
Every step she helped him took was slow, but the pain was there and shot throughout his body, the frowns, the gasps of air and the groans of pain confirmed to her it was taking a lot for him to enter the car. Finally, now that the two were inside the car, Mia closed the door and took a quick look at Dom. "Go!"

Brian's tumble down the hood and onto the tarmac from a car that went from 'pretty darn fast' to zero was so unexpected that he couldn't even react and try to avoid greater injury. Instead he hit the tarmac with such brutal force that it knocked the wind out of him at the same moment he felt his right side take the full impact. He instantly was in so much pain that he feared he'd broken just about everything from his shoulder to his leg and would never get up again, which would ultimately mean a prison sentence. On top of that the black tarmac claimed a great part of his skin on that side as tribute. For a moment he laid still and couldn't do anything but breath and try to figure out whether he could even get up again. Then Brian had to push himself up because sirens and lights were approaching fast. There was no time to deal with it if he didn't want to become a cop in prison. An instant later he saw Mia jump out of the car and reach under his arm to help him up. Had it been anybody else he would have pushed them away and told them to 'get the hell away from him'. Mias help however he accepted gladly but it proofed incredibly hard and painful, yet with her help he managed to drag himself to the car and into the backseat. "Where did you get your drivers license?" Brian groaned mocking Dom. "Hit it or we're all going away for a long time." You ripped my blouse...LOl Why do I love adding matching pics so much?

Dom anxiously switched from watching the police fast approaching to Mia and Brian's struggle to get to the car. Just as Brian somehow managed to get himself in, cop cars skidded to a stop behind them with officers flooding out of them. Before they could get their hands on the charger though, the car bolted off and left them in a cloud of smoke. They were quite literally eating dust.
"What license?" Dom said with a smirk. He then realized just how hurt Brian was when he took an extra look at him. That was no surprise obviously, not many would fair too well with being launched into the pavement. Nonetheless, he looked like he just got out of hell. "Damn." He mumbled and looked to Mia for her assessment.
Determined cops were doing their best to hang with the muscle car, but their only chance was additional backup. Unfortunately for the three in the getaway car, backup was there as was made evident when four more police cruisers suddenly filed in behind Dom.
