If Jack had a free hand, he probably would have face-palmed himself right about now. This was going to be one frustrating afternoon. "Didn't you just accuse me of something?"
As the woman laid the pictures down in front of him, he gave them a quick once over, stopping only a second longer on the picture of the guard he had pulled the trigger on, while he clenched his jaws. How could he forget that guy. Luckily it had only been the man's shoulder, but the memory of it still made him feel guilty from time to time.
He shook his head as he turned his gaze back on the woman. "Nope, don't know any of these guys."
The moment the woman asked Faye that question, he couldn't help but glance at her while the corner of his mouth quirked up in a smile. She sure as hell was the sexiest lawyer he'd ever seen with her short shorts and slightly see through top and he was more then glad to have her here by his side.

The woman was well trained and all she ever did were interrogations so she did notice the slight hint of hesitation when he saw the picture of one of the guards. "Look again, Mr. O'Conner. Are you sure?" She played with him. "Because one of these officers here mightb recognise you. I'm not sure if you are aware of this but all three have recovered enough for a lineup. If you can't remember I'm sure they will."
She pursed her red lips. "But you don't have to worry about that. You didn't do anything, right? Where were you on the morning of the 24th?"

Jack could feel his heartbeat rise at the womans words while he shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He didn't have a mask on when he had entered the wreckage of the bus and he wasn't sure how good of a look the guard could have had at him in all the chaos. "I'm sure. I've never seen these guys before."
He watched in resentment while the woman pursed her lips. She was clearly toying with him. "If you read the report on my earlier questioning, than you can see that I've already answered that question." He raised his eyebrows as he looked at the woman. "Are we gonna keep going in circles here? Kind of a waste of time, don't you think?"

She stared for a brief moment, then returned to smiling at Jack. "I'll decide how much of my time I want to waste on you. You'll stay here until the witnesses arrive."
She got up. "Maybe in the meantime you can consult your lawyer whether you maybe want to start answering truthfully."
She shot Faye a mocking look and got up and left together with her colleague.
The pictures remained on the table.

Faye shook her head at the woman in front of her "My relationship with Mr'Oconner is that he is a client"She sat straighter in the chair her own gaze wondering over the pictures she caught the slight hesitation in his eyes at the picture of the guard, if they had a witness and the guy was here Jack was in major trouble.
When the woman left some time later she let out a deep breath and shifted in her chair slightly, she was all to aware that the woman was sat behind the one way mirror, and anything they said could and probaly would be used against him.
"Just keep answering the questions, your doing good"She let out a breath knowing she was about to do the same thing with Leon,Mia and Brian.
"Keep your cool and we'l be out of here before you know it"She turned back to the pictures, gaze lingering on the guard, there was no way he could id Jack, right.
"Your alibi is tight, we have lots of people other then me and Leon who can confirm you where you were on the morning in question." She touched his arm softly, letting him know she was there for him, because through the tough ass persona he was petrified.

Down the hallway from the interrogation rooms Ashton was pushed onto a hard plastic chair in front of one of the officers who had brought him in. The man ran a hand over his sweaty, bald head and came back with a bunch of sand on it. "So what the hell was that, beach boy?" He scooted a little closer. "Who are you and why on earth did you think it would be fun to interfere in a POLICE operation? You little shit almost csot us the catch of the month." He pushed his foot against Ashton's chair and almost made him tip.

The cell walls seemed to be closing in on him. Everything here reaked of a very dark future. Brian shivered slightly. The cell was stinky and cold and he was still in nothing but wet board shorts. Time seemed to pass slower than usually and all he could do was wait. His hands had lost all colour in the cuffs behind his back because of the cut off circulation. Of course Clay had done this on purpose. All part of the plan. Make sure your suspect is as uncomfortable as possible before you interrogate him and wave some kind of a releif in front of his face in exchange for information. Brian wasn't new to this game. Too bad it wasn't a game this time. His thoughts wandered to Jack and Leon, to Ashton, who had tried to help him, and then to Mia. Did she get away?

Jack let out an aggravated sigh when the woman left and slouched down in his seat again, looking at anything but the pictures. They only reminded him of what had happened then and what could happen now because of it. It wasn't just going to be a one nighter like last time, nor could his brother bail him out of this one considering Brian was in the same shit as he was.
Faye's words didn't really reach him, until he felt the soft touch on his arm. He looked up at her and gave a half-assed smile. "Yeah, I'm doing fantastic!" He said, voice laced with sarcasm. He wanted to say more to her, but with being watched like a hawk, it was obviously better that he didn't. Instead he just cleared his throat and mumbled in a low voice. "Anyway... thanks for being here."

After staying in the observation room for a while, watching the interrogations, Clay couldn't help but rejoice in his little success and pour some salt in to Brian's wounds. With a cup of steaming hot coffee in his hand, he made his way back to where the holding cells were and stopped in front of Brian's cell, eyeing him through the bars.
"How you holding up, O'Conner? I hope I didn't put those cuffs on too tight." He flashed him a grin and pointed down the hallway where the interrogation rooms where. "You know, it'll only be a little while before one of them cracks and starts singing like a bird." His grin widened as he watched Brian's reaction. "And I don't think that brother of yours will last long in prison. Know what am I saying?" He winked and took a sip of his coffee before he continued. " To be honest, I doubt you will either. After all, it's a tough world in the big house and they don't take too kindly to former cops in there."

"Dont worry about it hopefully we can have you guys out of here by night fall"She let her arm drop and bit her lip.

Clay's talking about prison made Brian real uneasy because he knew it wasn't just a possibility but most likely. When he started talking about Jack the guilt that had been knawing on Brian's conscience made him snap. He shot up towards the bars and growled. "I don't know why you guys dragged my little brother into this. If you want me...here I am. Let me out and I'll give you a real reason to lock me up." It took a minute for him to regain his self controll and step back from the bars. "I can tell how you're injoying this, buddy. All these years of resentment because I got the Toretto job and not you and now you have a chance to nail me...you think. But sorry, bro. You're wrong. Have you called my boss yet or do you still have a job?"

Clay smirked eyeing the man in front of him, he was right, he resented him more then even he thought, and this was the time he could punish him for making a royal screw up, if it had been him on the job Toretto would have been rotting behind bars by now.
He stepped closer to the cell eyes locked on Brian "I get you probaly dont actually care for that fact your brothers in here because of you, but how bout that preety little girlfriend of yours, i can only imagine what they do to girls like her in jail"
The smirk that spread across his face was even wider as he allowed what he had said to sink in.

Mia. The bastard mentioned Mia. So they had caught her. The thought of what they would do to her in jail gave Brian the creeps. If his hands hadn't been behind his back right now he would have grabbed the man through the bars and smacked his head against their steel. This way all he could do was not to letting his anger show. His jaw worked while his blue eyes dug right into his former colleague. "I'm glad I don't have to work with an asshole like you anymore. Why don't you shove all this bullshit where the sun never shines and get to the point."

Clay didn't even as much as flinch at Brian's reaction, but simply kept his grin on his face. He had expected the reaction, hell, he had been gunning for it. "I see you're still a hot head, huh?" He nodded and stepped closer to the bars, grabbing a hold of them with his free hand as he glared at Brian. "You want me to call the FBI and tell them they have a criminal on their team? Even the Feds won't like having criminals on their payroll, my friend. I think my job is pretty secure. How's that for making a point?" He stepped back again, releasing the bars and took another sip of his coffee while he regained himself. He was the one who had the upper hand here and he was going to enjoy it for as long as he possibly could. "O and by the way.. I don't think I can nail you, I know I can nail you, buddy." He smirked, spitting the word 'buddy' right back in to Brian's face.

Brian was searching his face trying to figure out whether there was some truth behind that grin. Most likely there was since the cops had actually gone and arrested them all. He blinked, turned around and went back to sit down. From now on he was going to be quiet. He didn't want to give the man the satisfaction of aggrovating him any longer.
While he remained pretty calm on the outside his mind did 360 degree jumps trying to figure out what they actually had on him. Suddenly he remembered the stitched up scar on his back. Maybe they had found some blood or a witness had told them about it. "Hey, I'm cold. It's freezing in here. Can I get a t-shirt or something?"

Officer Jackson, who had been interviewing Jack before and came back into the room. She stepped behin Jack and pulled him up by his arm. "I've received word that the officers who were accompanying the jail transport are on their way here. Until then you ahve time to reconsider your statement. Giving false statements can only make things worse for you." Her dark eyes actually reveiled pitty for the young man. "I think you've been dragged into something by your brother here. Testify before you get identified and I'll see what I can do for you. Afterwards it's too late, Mr. O'Conner." Without a further word she led him down the hallway and locked him up in one of the detention cells after taking his cuffs of. "Think hard." With that she left. Briefly she stopped at Clays side. without looking at her colleague she mumbled. "Make sure they don't talk to each other."

Faye stood when the woman removed Jack from the room and she bit her lip, god damn cops, she hated them with a passion, she followed them out of the room, she knew her brother was waiting, but she couldnt do it, she just couldnt be in the room with him just yet. She turned to the guy in front of Brians cell and gave him a small smile.
"Im O'Conners lawyer, how bout you question him now, you wont risk the two of them talking that way"

When word came in that the guards were on their way Leon got hoisted out of his chair by his slick, well dressed interrogator. "Just letting you know that you're in trouble, man. The guards from the prison bus are about to show up here and they will identify you. Too bad you said you weren't there. Your alibi is your sister. No jury will beleive her. If you're not cooperating within the next 10 minutes you will have to figure out a way to cooperate with your former fellows in Folsom State again." he shook his head in disgust and brought Leon to one of the cells in the back.
A minute later he stepped in front of Mia and looked down on her with a frown. "Your turn." He pulled her up from her seat and took her to the interrogation room. "Miss Toretto. Listen." His well groomed face lay in wrinkles. "You'd better talk now before it's too late. we know the men who were on the beach with you broke your brother out of prison. We have witnesses for that. If you don't want them to rot in jail for as long as they live you better start cooperating." He forcefully put his hands down on the table in front of her and looked her in the eye. "Do you understand this? Even if you just took them in afterwards and hid them you're still an accomplice but on the contrary to each and every one of them you don't have a record. Talk to me!"

Jack watched as Faye tried to give him a reassuring smile. If it wasn't for her eyes telling otherwise, he would have actually bought in to it. "Yeah, hopefully."
His eyes trailed down to where Faye's hand had touched his arm. He was actually slightly disappointed that she had dropped it from him, he liked being closed to her. He had come to realize that after the ball game on the beach this afternoon. He huffed slightly at his own thoughts and recollected himself. He shouldn't have these feelings.
His eyes shot back up at Faye and then at the door when the woman suddenly came back. He stood up as she pulled him up, shooting Faye a look while he listened to the officers words. What the fuck was he supposed to do now. He couldn't just confess could he? They didn't have shit on him yet.
Without even being able to get advice out of Faye, he was already led to the detention cell and locked up. He rubbed his now free wrists and muttered. "Fuck."

Faye shared a quick look with Jack, heading towards his cell. "This is the part where i tell you not to say anything to any one" She wrapped her hand around the cool bars, she didnt want to see him in jail, she was far to attached to him and the rest of them.
"Just keep cool"
