The sun was high in the sky on this lazy Sunday afternoon. Only the breeze coming in from the ocean provided some releif. Jack and Brian had decided to take a break and check out the surf on a new beach a little out of town. there were mostly sufers there but also a few people barbequing and swimming. A little further down there was also a work out area with a couple of people lifting weights and boxing. His hand shielded his eyes against the bright light while he watched a couple of surfers doing neat tricks. His surfing skills ended at his boardshorts. Brian felt the sun burn down on his bare shoulders. He looked back at Jack, who had fallen asleep on a towel in the sand. "Did you have your beauty sleep?"

Blinking against the harsh sunlight Jack slowly opened his eyes. As he sat up, he slapped his brothers head while he stretched himself. "Atleast someone got the good looks in this family." While he checked out a few girls walking by he added "And it isn't you!" Jack hated the beach and he didn't know why he even agreed on coming along. But he was here now so he might as well make the best of it. He glanced at his brother and smirked. "What's with the shorts, surfer dude"

"What's with the speedos, punk?" He motioned for Jack's choice of cut of shorts. He laughed at Jack's 'good-looks' comment. one thing he liked about his brother was that he was pretty self confident and had his own style. He was a good looking dude in his very own ways.
Brian looked down at his shorts wondering what was wrong with them. He thought they were cool and it didn't hurt to dress like the locals. His gaze fell upon the scar he was sporting since that day in Mexico two weeks ago. It ran from his right hip upwards and still had a scab on it. Brian was just glad it wasn't a little further in and down. This way he at least had a good story to tell.
A couple of people who had gathered down the beach attracted his attention. They looked a little out of place-just like Jack.

Amira sighed and adjusted her top nervously. She was hoping to neither have a social mishap nor a wardrobe malfunction. She flipped her long hair over her shoulder and threw her big sunglasses on, as she walked down the boardwalk dressed in black black boardshorts that went with her black bikini.
As she glanced down what seemed to be an infinite amount of sand- she spotted them. She smirked sarcastically, realizing just how many blonds seemed to be in California. The beach was practically covered in them.
She pulled off her flip flops and threw them into her tote bag, before marching her way over to them. She stopped inches away from him, making sure to kick over as much sand as she could. She dropped her heavy tote bag on him and glared at him.
Brian looked right at home, while Jack looked like he rather be sharing a cell with a big dude called Bubba. "Hey, asshole! Instead of sitting around tanning like some dipshit, you should be out making me some god damn money!" She yelled, kicking him softly in the ribs.

His smirk faded a little when he noticed his brothers gaze had shifted from the shorts to his scar. "Chicks dig scars you know. Consider yourself lucky" Jack was glad that that was all it was now. A scar. Things could've ended much worse and they would probably not be sitting here if they had. Those were thoughts he'd rather not have. Lucky for him, his thoughts were soon rudely interrupted by some fool kicking up sand and clearly starting shit "What the f..." He swallowed the rest of the sentence when he realized who the 'fool' was. Maybe he wasn't so lucky after all. Amira, the girl he had tried to avoid as best as he could for the past 2 weeks had found him right here on the beach. The beach he didn't want to be in the first place. He shot his brother a 'thanks for nothing' look before he turned his full attention to Amira who continued her light abusing. "Take it easy, woman. I just need a little more time coming up with the money. You'll get it, I swear!"

Brian turned around to see Amira abuse Jack. He hoped that Jack wouldn't loose his temper like usually and just take it like a man. After all it was his own damn fault. There was no legal way anybody could come up with that kind of money in such a short time unless he had a job. Both of them had been trying to come up with a plan but failed and then Letty had taken up their full attention. Amira looked awefully hot in her beach outfit, teint skin and tats. Ususually Brian didn't dig girls like her but she had something. So he couldn't help but stare at her curves and had phantasies of her in a mudfight...maybe not with Jack.

She sighed, dropping down into the sand facing Brian. She leaned back on her elbows and glared at Jack. "Its been two weeks. You need a little more time and I need to get the fuck off of Hector's couch. I'm starting to wear my welcome out and frankly, I'm tired of running into the flavor of the week on the way to the bathroom in the morning," Amira said.
She watched as Jack glanced at Brian, looking for an out. She nodded towards him and sighed once again. "Something's gotta give and sooner than later, perferably."

He shot Amira an angry look "What? You think I can just pull two grand out of my ass? I wish!" Before he had even finished the sentence, Jack already regretted saying it. It was exactly this kind of behavior that always got him in this trouble. He really should learn to count to ten before opening his big mouth. He cleared his throat while he prepared himself to say something not many had heard coming over his lips. "Sorry." It came out as a low mumble, but atleast he said it. "Look.." He paused for a moment, choosing his words more carefully this time. "I have no way of coming up with the money in a short amount of time. Can't I repay you in any other way?" He glanced over Amira's shoulder towards his brother. Judging by the look on Brian's face, Jack knew exactly what he was thinking and it had absolutely nothing to do with the money. The horny bastard. Jack couldn't blame him though...

Brian rolled his eyes at his brother. Of course THAT came to his mind immediately. He chuckled while he crossed his arms ín front of his chest. This would be interesting to watch.
Suddenly the cop realized what his brother was offering to the woman who was supposedly leading one of the biggest gangs in LA , maybe Southern California. His whole body tensed up, he clenched his fists. Since the chick was looking his way he couldn't motion for Jack to cut the crap.

Amira cocked an eyebrow and felt the hair on the back of her neck stand up. She sat up and brought her eyes into slits, staring intently at Brian. What was Jack referring to? Sex? Or maybe he was referring to....
She rather give him the benefit of the doubt, because if she let her paranoia get the best of her... Brian would be burying his brother, instead of trying to keep him alive long enough to clear his debt.
"I don't see how. I guess you're gonna have to get a J.O.B., like the rest of us and pay me back," she said. She utterly detested having to seem so desperate for the money, but she honestly needed it.
The 2gs was the only money she had that didn't come from the gang. It was all the hard earned money she had to her name and she wasn't about to dip into the gang's fund. Even though she had all the right to, she was trying to separate her personal life from the street life. She may have called the shots, but that was all she was currently doing.
She softened her face, realizing that she was probably freaking the blonds out. "So I got some snacks," she said, offering a half assed smile and reaching over to her bag, pulling out bags of chips and sodas.

Brian breathed a sigh of relief that Amira didn't accept Jacks inconsiderate offer. This was his chance to change the subject. "Hey, cool. I'm starving." He went over to them and sat down next to Amira in the warm sand and reached for one of the bags she was offering. Salt and Vingar chips. he hated them but opened the bag regardless and said. "It's nice to see you again." He looked at her and smiled. "You don't seem to be the beachy type. Do you surf?" He quickly threw a glance at Jack. If he could have right now he would have spanked him.

Jack was rather disappointed with the answer he received. He had been hoping he could get himself of the hook one way or another. (And no he didn't mean by sex) Despite the fact that he owed Amira money and had promised his brother, finding a job still hadn't been one of his priorities. He simply just had too many less important things that occupied him... In silence he grabbed a soda from Amira and rolled his eyes at his brother. He did it not only because of the lame conversation maker, but also because of the fact that Brian had thrown a glance at him. Jack knew all too well what his brother meant with that. 'Don't be stupid'. In return he simply made a 'what?' gesture when Amira turned her attention to his brother. Couldn't blame a guy for trying. Even if it might be a stupid move in this case.

Amira snapped the bag of chips out of Brian's hand with one hand and smacked it away with the other. "I have this thing for junk food, so watch your hands and any sharp movements," she joked, offering Jack some chips.
She glanced behind her, to the water's edge and took in the beautiful scenery. "Not much of a beach person. The salt. The sand. The people who have no business wearing bathing suits. I'm more of sit in the backyard and tan while getting shit-faced type of person."
As she said that, she reached into the very bottom of the bag and pulled out a small flask, a smirk creeping onto her face. "I figured Jack would be too prissy for martinis. I hope Walker will do." She took the top of the flask off and took a long swig, wincing when she was done.
She felt her eyes water as the liquor burned going down, but she couldn't help but smile. She had a wild streak a mile long and today she felt like she was in good company. Which could only mean one thing... trouble.
Amira put the top of the flask on and threw it Jack's way. Something told her Brian would volunteer to be the Papa Bear but that Jack would be the one to follow her to the edge.
These two were complete opposites. Ying and Yang. But somehow it worked. They balanced each other out.
She felt.... safe.

When she took a drink of the flask Brian raised an eyebrow at her. It was a bit early in the day for booze for his taste but he was pretty sure Jack would go for it. This woman was a rough one. She had the curves and face of a full-grown woman but the attitude of a guy-and not your everage guy. Brian couldn't help but admire her sightly. She seeméd dangerous but he loved playing with danger. He was aware that he came off as your general California sunnyboy but he had a reckless side to him that just couldn't keep his hands of danger. This worked to his advantage in his job because he was usually underestimated by his targets.
Brian watched her out of the corner of his eyes. Her gaze was fixed on the water. He followed it and watched the waves roll in. With sweat rolling down his already red back he would have paid to go for a swim right now. But he really didn't want to leave Jack alone with her. Who knew what would happen. So he simply smiled at her.
Little did he know that the lenseof a high precision camera was pointed at them at this very moment taking a series of pictures.

Jack caught the flask and looked at it. What was this supposed to be, a peace offering? "Yeah, I don't drink" He stated with a smile. Ofcourse he did drink, but right now he had no desire of getting wasted on a beach and make a total ass out of himself. Did this mean he was being more responsible this time? Probably not. Jack just wrote if off as not wanting to be too predictable. He was, however, curious how much Amira could take. She looked tough enough for a fair amount, but looks never told you everything. "But don't let me stop you, beautiful" He gave the flask back to Amira and opened himself a soda like a good little boy. The refreshment the soda offered was nice but damn, did he hate himself right now for not taking the liquor.

She pouted sarcastically, taking the flask back and batting her eyelashes at him. "Boo hoo. I was actually trying to get you shitfaced so that I could pick your pockets clean and run off with your brother," she said.
Amira turned towards Brian and nodded at him. "By the looks of it you're the brother with the smarts, the ride and the muscle tone. Whaddya do when you're not keeping him out of trouble?"
She barely knew these guys and here she was hanging out on the beach with them, like they had grown up together. She had already given one of them 2gs and didn't even know their last names. She was getting sloppy and wasn't too happy about it.

Brian laughed at her remark and thanked her for the compliment. His face was already slightly red from the sun so it wasn't so easy to tell that she made him blush. "I think all these things apply to you actually, more curves than muscle. Plus you're very trusting...lending my brother so much cash. That's generous. He'll give it back to you, promise." So there it was...the question about his profession. He should have thought about a possible cover a long time ago. In this case it was easy though. "I work on cars and race them. I also go running with my dog or hang out on beaches with pretty girls." He smirked about the cheesy line. "What about you?" He didn't want to dig too deep but since she started the topic.

With her back turned towards him, Jack made a gesture like he wanted to shoot her. What was it about him that people always felt they had to give him shit. It was only fun when he was the one dealing it out. Sure, many people would probably disagree with him, but why should he care? He snorted at his brothers promise about the money and mumbled barely audible. "Don't make promises you can't keep" Right now he he'd lost all desire to even get this girl her money back. He'd rather be shot. Well perhaps not seeing as she was probably crazy enough to have him shot. For a moment there he'd forgotten she wasn't just any random person. She was believed to lead one of the biggest gangs around here and that 'little' fact was what made him tone down his attitude a bit. When his brother busted out another one of his cheesy pick up lines, Jack just rolled his eyes and laid back on the towel, letting them to it.

Amira checked herself. She felt like she might have pushed it a little too far with Jack. She kept reminding herself that they didn't know who she was. They didn't need to respect her or put up with her bullshit. She was no longer in charge. She was just a regular girl. She needed all the friends she could get. So she began to mentally kick herself while she tried to spark up some sort of conversation with Brian. She may have pushed Jack away, but she still had the older blond.
She blushed at his comment, feeling like a little school girl. While she held her composure, she tried to come up with a story. "I"m actually new in town. Looking for a job, a place to call my own... ya know. The whole nine yards," she replied.
She glanced over her shoulder at Jack, who was stretched out on his towel. She threw a small smile his way- a peace offering. "What about you?"

Jack had hoped that question would have stayed clear from him. He had nothing to be proud of or brag about, but unlike the other two, had no reason to make up a story. He threw a glance back at Amira while he quickly mumbled "If you hadn't noticed yet, I'm pretty much broke and sleep on my brothers couch." It came out a little ruder than he meant it to be and he realised how pathetic it sounded. Especially at his age. He really needed to get his shit together as soon as possible if he didn't want it to stay this way. "Every family needs it's screw up and in this one, it happens to be me." Now it was his turn to throw her a piece offering smile though he didn't feel his current situation was something to smile about.
