She handed some of the shingles seeing how he started to nail each piece, giving her time to go back to Dom´s room, finding a baseball cap that could help a little with the sun, she took it and went back to the kitchen to fill a glass with cold water and walked out climbing the ladder and giving him the baseball cap and the water.
“The beach?” she smiled, she never thought he wanted to go to the beach, she wanted to but decided not to say anything after seeing how tired he would be once he finish, but as the hours went by the sun wasn’t going to be that much of a problem, they might even see the sunset go down and swim in the cold sea water, something she was really looking forward too.
“You just read my mind,” she confessed as he started working and little by little, she handed him the roof shingles and he started nailing them down. "If I had listened to the weather forecast I wouldn't have started today. How are you doing?" She look up. “I am doing alright, how about your fingers?” noticing how he hit himself a few times with the hammer.
He was almost done with the roof despite the wind picking up its pace in and blowing one of the shingles.

The outlook to go to the beach soon made Brian speed up. He grabbed the next shingle Mia was handing him and placed it above the one before, then started hammering a nail in. Of course he got his own thumb again now that he was trying to get done as quickly as possible. Wincing in pain he pulled back his hand. After a while this simply hurt. "Fine." He answered with a pained expression. "Just accepting that I'm a terrible handyman hurts."
The wind that was now blowing all the dust and dirt from the roof in his eyes didn't make things easier but at least it cooled Brian down. After another hour the shingles were finally in place and Brian stood on top of the roof raising his arms in victory. "Done!" Then he turned to what was left of the tree, whose branch had broken off, and scolded it. "If you ever decide to fall again, don't you dare to come down here!"
Suddenly in a really good mood he jumped off the roof onto the grass and did a little dance. "Ready for the beach?"
Brian didn't give a damn that the sky overhead had turned from bright blue skies into a mix of sun and some threatening dark clouds in the West.
He grabbed his shirt from the grass and put all of Dom's tools back in the garage together with the gloves. "I'm glad he didn't come around today." On his way to his car he noticed how heavy his arms felt from the unusual labor. "Are you coming, Mia?"

Finally! The roof was fixed; she could see his pain as he looked down at his fingers. "Just accepting that I'm a terrible handyman hurts." She shook her head. “Nonsense, you did a wonderful job with that roof,”
The winds blew again cooling her sticky and sweaty skin. “Yay!” she jumped happily like a little girl holding her thumbs up watching him celebrate too, and let out a laugh as he turned towards the tree scolding the well sized and heavy three. “Yes! I am so ready to go to the beach,”
She look up at the sky, rain was about the fall in an hour and the sun was hiding behind some clouds, what better way than to end up the day with rain and at the beach. He waited for him to pick up his shirt as she wiped sweat beads from her forehead with the back of her hand. “Yep,” she hurried to the car and got in, before he could start the car, she lean to his side to kiss his cheek. “Thank you for everything,” words couldn’t express how she felt, she was grateful to have him.

With Mia by his side in the driver seat of his car, even if it was an old bomb, key in the ignition and foot on the pedal. How much better could it get? Brian mused while the wind blew in the open windows and made Mia's hair dance around her pretty face. Suddenly she placed a kiss on his cheek and thanked him. There, that's how things can get even better.' Brian laughed a little and announced. "Any time for you." Then he let the clutch go and stepped on the gas making the tires spin out on purpose. "It's go time." A second later they had grip again and propelled the old car out onto the road. The drive to the beach took almost 45 minutes but was well worth it. At this time of the day with a storm moving in, most people had already left. Brian parked his car and got out. He walked around to Mia's side and took her by the hand before letting his feet touch the sand. He could feel it in between his toes but it was still hot and they couldn't stand still for long. The waves came rolling in pretty fast and broke close to the shore in multiple sets. A few surfers were making use of the conditions and took their chances with the higher waves. Together they walked towards the water where they sat down on the sand. Deeply inhaling the salty air Brian closed his eyes. "This is perfect." A quick squeeze of her hand let Mia know that he meant being there with her.

She removed her sandals so she could feel the sand better taking Brian´s hand, the beach wasn’t full with people as it usually happen every weekend because of how crazy the weather was about the get, the two of them basically had the whole beach for themselves, besides the two to four surfers taking advantage to challenge the waves. “Nice…”
Mother Nature had done a wonderful job; it was so quiet yet perfect. The waves got closer to their feet as the cold water touched their toes. "This is perfect." She chuckled watching the sea. “It is,” capturing his lips for a quick kiss, she held up his hand feeling how soft his hand felt, a closer look revealed the two small blisters on his fingers.
“Sorry about this, I wish I could´ve done more to help you,” the gloves he wore when he got injured prevented the hammer from making further damage to his hand, his thumbs were red, as well as a few blisters on his second hand, his back red thanks to the sun. She hated to see him hurt.
OOC: Nice pic!

Standing at the beach instead of a baking hot roof was a welcome change and Brian didn't mind the clouds and wind at all, that ruffled their hair.
Once they reached the water, which was drawing cool cirlces around their ankles Mia started inspecting his hands, which made Brian a little uncomfortable. The only reason he was getting blisters and maybe a black nail was because he hadn't paid enough attention but it was no big deal. "No need to fuzz." He held up her own hand that was wrapped up. "See, we match." He joked before kissing her back. "In many more ways actually." His hand reached around her neck to pull her close for a longer kiss. "How many times have we done this today? 3,4, 10 times?" He wonder once their lips parted. He didn't know. "A lot more than I would have imagined a few days ago!"
The spray of one of the waves rolling onto the beach left them with small droplets all over their pants and shirts, which was almost a little more than refreshing. Since Brian's back was clearly overheated he pulled Mia further into the water though. "Let's go for a swim. Did you bring a bathing suit?" Quickly he pulled his shirt off and tossed it onto the sand. His shorts would have to do.
The anticipation of seeing Mia in either her bathing suit or, even better, her underwear was speeding up his pulse a little.

He held her close to make the kiss last as he reached behind her neck to bring her closer to his lips. "How many times have we done this today? 3,4, 10 times?" She smiled. “A lot of times…” she kissed him again but had to stop as the water started to soak her jeans and top.
Mia didn’t answer his question about the bathing suit but showed him as she remove her blouse and jeans tossing them on the sand and as far away from the water, revealing a two piece and black bikini, the cold water kept pushing against them and she couldn’t help but shivered as the water made contact with her skin, this was the hard part of entering a pool or in this case the sea.
Mia let her hair loose removing the pony tail. “Ready?” Just as she placed her arms around his neck a wave came crashing on them.
The sky started to turn grey but instead of getting out and running away they stayed in each other´s arms as a thunder lit up the sky later followed by a roaring sound.

Brian was this close to licking his lips because Mia's small frame looked so darn hot in that black bikini. "How could I forget how beautiful you are?" He asked nobody in particular when they got drneched by another wave. The water definetly gave him chills. Mia's warm body against his excentuated how cold the water really was. Still both of them were determined to go for a swim when suddenly lightning lit up the dark clouds. "Oh, this could be dangerous." He grinned at her, took her hand and ran into the waves, first jumping over a few but soon tossing himself into the blue. At first the water felt freezing but the more he moved around in it the more he got adapted to it.
A few surfers decided that it was time to leave but Brian dived under the surface to reach around Mia's waist from behind and pull her close against him. Again he felt the warmth of her skin against his when her back connected with his stomach. He was having a blast in the cold, wild waves but wasn't sure whether she felt the same. Over the sound of the wind he shouted. "You don't have to do this if you're not comfortable." A large wave splashed over their heads before it rolled towards the shore.

She laughed and starting running as he pulled her hand, jumping over some of the waves was easy, the water was extremely cold but the only way to get it to feel warm was for her to swim a little bit more.
Mia couldn’t see Brian as he let go of her hand for him to start swimming into a more deep area of the sea, but his disappearance didn’t take much longer as he emerged from the water, his arm protectively around her waist pulling her to him as her back felt his stomach, he loved the beach so much, he looked like a little kid splashing water just for the fun of it.
Both emerged to the surface after the large wave rolled towards the shore. “Let´s go,” she pulled him to where he was diving moments ago, removing his arm from around her waist for her to start swimming underwater too.

Mia's sense for adventure was awesome. "You're such a trooper." He commended her before he followed her under the water, diving under large waves and the rain that was starting to fall and left cold spots on whatever wasn't under the surface. With a few strong strokes Brian was by her side placing one hand on the small of her back. Every now and then they came up for air. One time the loud thunder overhead made Brian flinch. Maybe it was a good idea to get out of the water since the storm seemed to be almost over them. "As much as I love this, I think we should get out of the water unless you fancy the headline: Two lovebirds struck by lightning while making love under water." He joked. They were far from it, physically but in his mind Brian loved Mia with all his heart. She was truly saving him.
The swim to the shore was quite fast because the waves carried them and they soon reached the empty beach, where their clothes were soaked, full of sand and distributed in all sorts of directions.

She came up to the surface to take some air as the rain started to fall rapidly and thunders kept roaring in the sky, they better get out of there as soon as possible. She chuckled “As much as it sounds funny, I would hate to be struck by lightning,” For a moment she thought about what he had said, she loved him with all her heart same as him, but deep down she wonder if the words ´together´ and ´forever´ applied to them. Sure, he had a family of his own. Will she ever have that same opportunity with Brian? She placed those thoughts aside as she was starting to swim towards the shore.
The waves helped them to reach their destination in a few seconds. She ran to pick up her jeans and blouse before joining Brian, her hair soaking wet as water dripped down her back. The rain didn´t seem to stop either, but there were safe feeling the sand in between their toes while the waves crashed into the shore more aggressively.
Mia removed the excess of water from her clothes and long hair before entering the car. “I had an amazing time,” her eyes lit up, the experience of swimming under a storm was fascinating yet dangerous. She couldn’t suppress yawning, as soon as she got home; she was taking a shower and doing something quick for dinner and from there straight to bed. She felt tired but happy.

Their jog across the beach was accompanied by an orchestra of lightning and thunder right over head. Instinctively Brian pulled his head in until he reached the car and opened the passenger side for Mia. "At least you don't have to care about getting my car dirty." He smiled as he ran around and threw himself onto the driver seat and pulled the door closed before the wind could smash it. The rain coming down onto the wind shield was so hard that neither of them could see outside. It was like a curtain of water. "perfect." Brian nodded at Mia and looked at her. Her long dark strands were glued to her face and clinging to her body like the tentacles of an octopus. Her face was beaming with excitement and her eyes sparkled. "You are happy." Brian smiled at her, then reached out his hand to cup her face. "And so incredibly gorgeous." Wiping some water from her cheek with his thumb he leaned over to briefly kiss her.
Then he started the engine but without vision there was no driving, just some heat from the old heater.
At home he followed Mia upstairs to the only bathroom that had a shower and tub. Should he wait for her to shower first or actually do what he felt like and shower together? "Do you want to go first?" He asked innocently.

Despite swimming in the cold water of the sea and the rain, his thumb was warm removing some drops of water from her cheek, gladly she welcomed his kiss and there was nothing they could do but wait for the rain to cease, at least a little so Brian could see where he was driving too.
The ride to her home was quiet, a nice kind of quiet ride, by now her hair wasn’t as damp and her bathing suit was somewhat dried on her skin, they hurried upstairs, it wasn’t until she open the bathroom that she remembered there was only one bathroom for them to shower, there was nothing wrong with his question, she could´ve sworn he had other thing in mind before asking her to take a shower first.
She didn’t need to look at Brian to know what he really wanted to happen, and he sure as hell didn’t have to ask because he knew the answer. “Do you?” she turned to see him. She was playing a dangerous game…

"No." He answered her question. The way she looked at him with that tiny smirk on her lips could have easily been interpreted as an invitation. Brian searched her face to figure out what was going on behind it. Stepping a little close her put the same smirk on his face and added. "But I don't want to go second either." Gently he pulled on the strap of her bikini top until it slid over her shoulder. First the right one, then the left. "Tell me to stop if you..." He cut himself off when he undid the small hook. His own shorts and underwear soon joined hers on the floor. The water was cold at first but soon warmed his skin while steam was traveling to the ceiling. "I really hope you're brother doesn't decide to come home right now." Brian whsipered with a sheepish grin before he kissed the top of her shoulder.

The smirk on her lips never went away not even when he confessed he didn´t want to go second either, he slowly started to remove her bikini top. “Tell me to stop if you..." She shook her head. “I don´t want you to stop...” the words left her lips so easily and clear for him to hear.
She gasped as the cold water hit them making her shiver, but soon the shiver went away and replaced with warm water, the bathroom was filled with steam. "I really hope you're brother doesn't decide to come home right now."
The gentle kiss on her shoulder sent chills down her spine as she got closer to him, her breasts colliding gently with his chest as she placed her arms around his waist. “I am sure he will not come,” chuckling softly as she capture his lips, enjoying the moment.

Whether it was her soft skin, her lips sucking on his, the steam or her breasts against his chest Brian couldn't tell but he sure as hell felt slightly lightheaded. Had he just gone from hell to heaven on earth at the speed of light. Embracing her and pulling her body against his he couldn't care less whether Dom came home or not. "Even if he makes his threat true it's worth it." He whispered into the crook of her neck. Years ago Dom had promised Brian to break his legs if he ever hurt his sister. A statement like that was easily shrugged off as an empty threat. Not if it came from Dominic Toretto though. With hot water soaking every pore of his body and Mia in his arms the world seem right and nothing would ever change that. It had been since he walked into her life. Both of his hands reached up under her hair to cup her face as hhe kissed her passionately to let her know just what this meant to him.

She removed her lips from his and lean her head on his shoulder as he whispered on the crook of her neck, she smiled hearing his words. “Don´t worry, I´ll change his mind if he ever decides to make his threats true,” that was so Dom over protecting her, it was normal, that was what every other brother did to scare off guys from hurting their little sister, but she knew her brother so well, both Torettos and hard headed.
It was rare to see the two siblings argue but when they did, it got a little ugly, the majority of times Mia won, being the voice of reason, some others he didn’t listen to her, proof to that was when Jesse had been killed by Tran, she begged for Dom not to go, but he didn’t listen and did what he felt was right.
Minutes passed, if this was their way of saving money with the water, then they were failing big time, but to have him this close, it was so good to be true, but then he felt his hands reach under her long hair, cupping her face and kiss her passionately. It was real and she couldn’t think clearly when he kissed her like that! It was hard to describe how great she felt when he took posession of her lips like that...

The shower lasted much longer than it normally would, even if they took it seperately and Brian wasn't sure that he wasn't sweatier after it than before. But one thing was for sure. His heart was filled with joy and a peace for a change when he wrapped a towel around his waist and walked over to the bed just to fall down on it. He watched Mia walk out of the bathroom to find him laying on her bed. With hesitation he pulled her down to him and wrapped his arms around her like a blanket. With his head on a nice, soft pillow and the love of his life in his arms he fell asleep. No nightmare about being chased or shot at, no worries about his brother or Mira. Just him and Mia. The way they always were supposed to be.

It took them more than twenty minutes to get out of the shower. Brian was out first wrapping a towel around his waist, she dried her body with another towel wrapping it around her body while she brush her long hair and followed Brian who was now on her bed, dinner was out of the question.
They were both tired, she let him pulled her on top of him and within seconds he was asleep with his arm around her to prevent her to get away, instead of falling asleep she took a moment to look at his perfect face peaceful sleeping. Her fingertips caressed his blonde hair, but he never stirred, he was beyond tired.
She felt fortunate to have him, even when he thought he was bringing her down with everything going on with Mira, bottom line was that he didn’t know how much good he was bringing into her life. “You have no idea how much I love you,” she whispered to him knowing he wasn’t going to hear her. She kissed his head gently, never moving from his side. She took one last look at him and closed her brown eyes falling asleep too.

The next morning a few rays of sun tickled Brians face as he detangled Mia from him and slowly rolled away. For ages he hadn't slept this well but a night of good sleep left him feeling groggy and desperate for some coffee. For a moment he leaned on his elbow and admired Mia in her sleep. Her hair was fanned out over her pillow and her face was peaceful. With a smile he placed a soft kiss on her forehead and pushed himself off the bed. Only now did he notice how sore his arms were from the previous days work. Add the tender skin on his shoulders and he would almost regret it, if it wasn't for Mia. After all he had helped her and Dom, which was the least he could do after how she simply caught his fall.
Silently he padded down to the kitchen and rummaged around for some coffee grounds, filters and milk.
The gurgling sound of the machine gave away that he must have done something right, so he made his way outside to get the paper.
A little later he made his way back with a cup of steaming coffee, which he placed right in front of Mia's nose at the night side table. "Time to wake up...don't you have to work today?" He joked although it was Sunday.
